The Script - Nothing
All the previous pieces I’ve choreographed were fun, upbeat, and sometimes just plain silly (the intro we’re doing for Kollab LOL!), but this is the first time I’ve chosen to do something serious.
This piece has given me a whole new perspective on choreography, and I feel like I have a much stronger hold on my own style of choreo now. I’ve pulled inspiration from so many different things: dreams, drunken nights, people, different dance styles. I wouldn’t consider myself anything close to proficient compared to all the other amazing dancers I’ve met in London who can pretty much choreo on the spot (this one has taken us weeks), but each move in this piece has a meaning, the whole piece has one solid story and theme, it just feels so great seeing these visions turn into reality.
I’m excited to show this to the world. This is OURS, not many trios out there can do everything we do in this piece.
